In het kader van de tentoonstelling werkt het M HKA samen met e-flux Architecture aan een reeks teksten voor New Silk Roads, dat de sociale, ecologische en geopolitieke gevolgen van grote nieuwe nationale en transnationale infrastructuurprojecten onderzoek. Acht kunstenaars, onderzoekers en filosofen werden uitgenodigd door het M HKA en e-flux Architecture. De resulterende reeks teksten en interviews worden in de loop van de zomer van 2025 worden gepubliceerd op e-flux Architecture.
New Silk Roads is een project van e-flux Architecture in samenwerking met M HKA (2025); het Critical Media Lab van de Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW en Noema Magazine (2024); en Aformal Academy met de steun van Design Trust en Digital Earth (2020).

Published twice a year, each issue of Afterall Journal offers in-depth analysis of the work of contemporary artists, along with essays that broaden the context in which to understand it. The Journal is available in the museum shop of M HKA.
It is published by Central Saint Martins in partnership with M HKA, Antwerp; the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, University of Toronto and in association with The University of Chicago Press.
